Travel Details:
1. Andal Ranganayaka swamy temple and Venu Gopala swamy temple (Edulabad): 600 year old temple, entrance is very big. it is built by fore fathers of Mr Tiruvadandam Porethi Govindarajulu, he is priest for the seventh generation of the family for the temple. People offers bangles to the Andal ammavaru after their wish is fullfilled.
We do also see a big lake here named as Edulabad Water reservoir.
Things to Know: Small village on the way to Warangal highway, Take a Halt and take care and easily we take rest for few minutes.Plenty of water available. Road condition is good.
2. Laxmi Narasimha Swamy Temple (Yadadri): Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Temple also known as Yadadri and Yadagirigutta temple. New temple is being built and expected to open by early 2019.
Things to Know: We have couple of other sites too to see around here if you have bandwidth they are Surendrapuri and Lotus temple.
3.Shri Shwetambar Jain Tirth, (Kolanupaka, Aler Mandal):
It is 2000 year old Jain temple of Mahavira and said to be built by Emperor Bharata, son of King Dushyanta and Queen Sakuntala.
Things to Know: Cameras and phones are not allowed. we see very less rush. mainly Jain come here for long stay to perform their rituals.
4. Someswara Temple (Kolanupaka, Aler Mandal):
This temple is also called as Veyi Lingala Gudi (Thousand Lingas Temple).The temple was built around 12th century by Kakatiya Kings. Here Lord Shiva is found in human form unlike the common Linga form. Poojas are still being performed in this temple.
The temple complex also houses the Archeological Museum with sereral hundreds of wonderful sculptures dating back to 10th century to 14th century found in this region.
The temple is situated at a distance of 2 Kms from Jain Temple. We reach the temple on horse cart by paying 100 INR round trip.
Things to Know: Inside the Village and small roads to reach the destination. Phones and cameras are allowed inside the temple and there many centuries old very interesting idols for display.
5. 1000 Pillar Temple,Bhadrakali,Shrungarapu Baavi & Warangal Fort (Warangal):
A. Historic thousand pillar temple is a Rudreshwara Swamy Temple built by Kakatiyas.
B. Bhadrakali temple is built by Chalukya King Pulekesi II in 650 AD (around 1350 years)

C. Shrungarapu Baavi also called as Kakatiyan steeped well. it is multiple floor well and
we can magnificient architecture of the kakitayas.
D. Warangal Fort : This is an example of architectural excellence and historical richness,built on a hillock Ekashila in 13th century by Kakatiyas
Things to Know: Temple closes by 12:00 PM and reopens at 3:00 PM.
6. Laknavaram Cheruvu : Huge 10,000 acre Laknavaram Lake with its unparalleled beauty is ideal for a wide array of activities as well. The most popular activity at the lake is boating. Boating at Laknavaram Lake is something that interest every visitor, irrespective of age. For those seeking a bit of thrill, there is the option of speed boating along with motor boats.
Long Suspension bridge is another attractive feature of this lake. This hanging bridge starts from the entrance till the island, offering an experience worth remembering.
Things to Know: We have big children play areas with slides, see-saw and many other games and we do have a restaurant in middle of the island. We can even book the cottages with in the islands for night stay through online. The entry timings at the lake is from 8 AM to 5.30 PM
7.Ramappa Temple (Palampet):
Things to Know: around 15 Kms of road is under restoration now apart from that road is excellent. we can park the car on the road sides after few feets of the temple entrance on normal days. Food is not great at here better to take from Nizambad.
